I rank these software programs in this becuase I think the importance of each and every program is vital to learn going through life and school. Microsoft Word is the most basic of basic softwares out there. It can teach you the vital parts of writing papers or even coming up with your own resume. Powerpoint could be used in a sense of presentations and can be used outside of school to get points across in the business atmosphere. Then, Excel is vital because of what we are doing in class right now, using it for grading, finding averages and just an upkeep on averages, or to have something to go back on in case of a parent conference meeting. The Publisher software could be used to make brochures for PTA meetings or anything to use as an educational tool. And then the anti-virus is exactly as it states in the name to keep all the files protected from viruses that you might recieve from email and such. These softwares are all that I use now and can be used in just about any setting.
