This lesson plan is about history. This lesson plan wants the children to think and make an educated timeline about the president Barack Obama. They want you to use excel to make a timeline based on certain events. I know this assignment isn't that hard, but it would be interesting because you get to see what kind of things the president did before he was the President of the United States.

This seems like a very good way to help the visual learners in your classroom. I know for me, history was always a challenging subject. It is hard to memorize so many dates and events. If students get to see, in order what the president has accomplished, it may be easier for them to remember all the information.
